Benjamin is a Vancouver-based writer, director, editor, and composer working across narrative, documentary, and branded content. His award-winning short films have screened at festivals including TIFF, VIFF, SIFF, and Canal+, and have twice been selected as Vimeo Staff Picks and featured on Short of the Week. He is a graduate of Emily Carr University’s Film, Video and Integrated Media program and an alumnus of TIFF’s Directors’ Talent Lab.
From absurd, character-driven comedies to intimate, observational documentaries, Benjamin’s work combines emotional honesty with a bold visual style and a strong sense of rhythm. With a background in music—both performing in bands and scoring films—he brings a natural instinct for pacing and tone to every project. Years of experience in both directing and editing have shaped a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to storytelling, both on set and in post-production
